How to Advertise on Miva...
How to start a Miva advertising account
Miva is also one of the smaller search engines, but they can still generate a large amount of traffic for your website. If you're interested in trying Miva click on the link below because it will give you a $25 credit for USA or a £30 credit for the UK.

After you sign up for Miva you will need to create your advertising campaign. To do this follow these instructions:
*Note – When setting up your Miva account, don't tell them to automatically charge your credit card when your advertising funds get low. Instead opt to manually add funds to your account.
1) Click on the "Create ad listing" text link on your Miva account's main page.
Begin to enter the text for the text advertisement.
You will want your text advertisements to be catchy, accurate, and attention getting. I recommend using the text
ads ReviewSolution has supplied. To access these text ads go to the page you want to advertise and click on the link
titled "How to Advertise this Page" located at the bottom of the page.
If you decide to write your own text advertisements, I recommend basing your text advertisements after the text ads
ReviewSolution supplies.
The Title should draw the users attention towards your text advertisement. Then the description should convince the user to click on your text advertisement to go to your review site.
Your Display URL should be www.ReviewSolution.com and your destination URL should be the address to the review you're advertising.
2) Now enter the keywords related to the review that you're advertising.
In case you don't know what a keyword is, a keyword is basically a search term that someone enters into a search engine to find related webpages. So if you search online for "dog food" the word "dog food" is your keyword.
When you're prompted to enter keywords for your advertisement, I recommend you use the keywords that ReviewSolution has supplied for the review. You can see these keywords by going to the review page you want to advertise and clicking on the "How to Advertise this Page" link located at the bottom of the review page.
If you don't want to use the keyword list that ReviewSolution has supplied, you can always create your own keyword list by using the techniques below:
If you haven't yet created a keyword list Here's how to create a keyword one:
- Go to Google's Keyword tool by visiting the following website: https://adwords.google.com/select/KeywordToolExternal
- Click on the tab titled "Site-Related Keywords"
- Where it says "Enter a webpage URL…" enter the URL of the webpage you want to send your visitors to (remember I mentioned this earlier, this should also be your destination URL used in your test ad)
- Then click on the "Get Keywords" button.
Google will now display a large list of keywords relevant to the review site address you've entered. Next to each keyword you will see a link titled "Add". Click on this link to add that keyword to the keyword list you want to use (your keyword list will appear on the right side of the page). Go through the list and add all the keywords that you feel are relevant to the review website.
Once you've selected all the keywords you feel are relevant to your keyword list look towards the right side of the page just under the last keyword in the keyword list that you've added keywords to. You should see something that says "Download These Keywords". When you see this, click on the link titled "text" to download these keywords in the form of a text file to your computer.
Then simply copy and paste these keywords into the box on Miva that prompts you to enter your keywords.
3) On the next page enter a max bid of $0.05 and click on the "Calculate" button. This will set all of your bids at a maximum of $0.05 per click. When you're done, click on the "Next" button.
4) You will now be taken to a page where you will select a campaign from your list. Since you most likely don't have a campaign created yet, select the option "New Campaign" from the drop down menu.
After you do this a box will appear asking for your "Campaign Name". I would name it something like "Review Site". After you've named your campaign, click on the "Finish" button.
Congratulations! After you click on the Finish button your campaign and ad will have been created. You should start seeing traffic after your ad has been reviewed (this usually takes one business day).
To add the other keywords and text ads that I have given you, simply repeat the same process above, except when you get to step 4, instead of creating a new campaign simply choose the campaign you created (the "Review Site" campaign).
